Hi, everyone. My name is Douglas Lee and I’m the operations manager of Dental House. While you’re waiting in your car, I’d like to take these few minutes to thank you for trusting us with your dental care and our entire team wants you to know that we are committed to your safety during this once-in-a-century global event.
As we begin getting back to work in this new normal, we want you to know that many changes have been made in order to keep everyone who enters our office as safe as can be. We’ve created an entire program called the Clean Air Project, which combines operational changes with state-of-the-art technology to make the air as clean as it can be. The Clean Air Project is aimed at the reduction of potentially infectious aerosols in the air by limiting how much gets into the air in the first place, then aggressively scrubbing everything that is in the air in rapid cycles all day long. We’ve worked on this problem during the entire lockdown and feel we have solved the problem as much as it’s possible to do so.
The reduction of interior aerosols begins with closing our waiting room for now, and of course, having you wait in your vehicle. When it’s time, we will come to you, take your temperature, and then bring you in with a face covering. Remember, all of this is to reduce any potentially infectious aerosols inside the office, so you’re safe when you walk in. Depositing less aerosol is one thing, but whatever does escape into the air is constantly being pulled out and either filtered or purified with strategically placed medical grade filters and high-tech purifiers.
There’s a lot to cover but we don’t want to bore you with details here. If you want to know more about our Clean Air Project, we’re working on putting information on our website, detailing everything we’re doing to make this office as safe as it can possibly be. In the meantime, if you want to know now, just ask any one of my team members and we will gladly email you a link to read our internal memo - it wasn’t meant for the public, but you may find it interesting, especially if you like details.
For now, please relax and we’ll be with you as soon as we can once your chair is ready. We appreciate your patience and look forward to giving you the best - and safest - dental care in the city. We’ll see you shortly.
